Community Relations Summer Student

C3 Alliance is seeking a summer student to support our Community Relations and Project Management consulting teams. The successful candidate will support the Community Relations and Project Management teams in their daily operations while gaining experience in the natural resource sector.
Responsibilities:
Community research and drafting of Community consultation reports.
Coordinate, prepare, edit, format and/or proofread documents such as correspondence, memos, presentations, proposals, and reports related to company and client business.
Maintain client communication records including communication logs and monthly client reports.
Coordinate and schedule meetings both internally and for client, community, and government engagement.
Record minutes at various meetings and distribute or archive them accordingly.
Perform GIS analysis of various regions to determine relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a university or technical program.
Knowledge of the natural resource industry in BC and Canada.
Strong English written and oral communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the team.
Experience using GIS systems would be considered an asset.
Knowledge of Indigenous communities and culture would be considered an asset.
